Bihar govt wants Central university at Motihari

On the proposed Aligarh Muslim University (AMU)'s study centre in Bihar's Kishanganj district, Singh said the state government has acquired 243 acre land for the proposed institute aimed at providing high education facilities to the minorities' students and urged the AMU authorities to take possession of the land. The acquired land for the AMU study centre was located on Kishanganj-Bahadurganj road and was in two tracts which will be connected by roads, Singh said and rejected the Central university's plea for a single piece land and cited that its other study centre in Murshidabad in West Bengal was too constructed on different locations.
